This flashlight is good for the price; I bought it to use as a Zoomie donor and it is slightly brighter than my 1150 lumen flashlight, which is what I expected from a claimed 2000 lumen flashlight, but did not expect it to deliver at this price. It delivered the approximate brightness I hoped, which is slightly brighter than 1200 lumen and is how I would expect 2000 lumen to compare to 1150 lumen.I am happy with it, but am knocking one star because the XHP50 is under-driven and can be a significantly brighter.Water resistance? Eh… it could be if you upgrade the O-rings, and lube them before installing. Out of the box I would not trust it.. The wide beam is gorgeous. Fills a huge area with white light. The focused narrow beam is kind of strange where it looks like a Microsoft logo, (see pic). As you widen the beam it quickly goes away, so it’s not really a deal breaker. This effect comes the four large LEDs mounted in one bulb.As you can imagine, 2000 lumens needs a lot of battery power (two 18650 batteries). You can find the batteries + charger elsewhere on Amazon.Btw, it’s strictly On/Off, not 5 modes as even their own website says. I actually prefer this, as I have other multi-mode flashlights where I find the other modes somewhat annoying, having to step through them all just to turn it off. (Really, just how often do you think you’ll need a strobe, other than as a novelty? It gets old real quick.).

It could be a lot brighter.That being said, the zoom is smooth and it has a nice clean flood without artifacts.It will work well as a bike light. This is a nice sturdy flashlight and will serve some well. But. If you buy it because the description says 3000 lumins, forget it, it’s not as bright as my 800 lumins. These are sold many places on the web that are labeled “Max800” as this one is also.Unfortunately 3000 lumins is false advertising. Total fake, for the price its an OK deal , just don’t expect 3000 lumins.. I am super impressed with the brightness of these flashlights! I love the zoom feature….the square at its tightest setting is odd, but I can deal with that. They are definitely sturdy and should last for years to come. This easily lights up entire rooms. The only thing I wish was different would be a separate button for the strobe light – it can be difficult to get. The low brightness is even brighter than most flashlights. We used the flashlight for a few weeks before needing to recharge. We don’t use it much at each time so it does last a long time. Very happy with this purchase. It’s built good, sturdy and has an aluminum shield around the light that says you can use to break a windshield in case of a car accident. We hope to never use that part.. This flash light failed on me when I needed most, stopped working after a few times of use, and I mean very few times, not even 20 minutes of use in all. For a moment I thought it had no charge but I was pretty sure I had charged it 100%. I get home and plugged it, waited an hour or so and nothing, the flash light just wouldn’t turn on. Big waste of money, look for other brand, this one is not reliable.. This is a great little flashlight that’s more than bright enough for most needs. It is incredibly well made and it’s very bright. This light is sure to grace your pocket.. This is a great flash light. I have not really used it outdoors yet, but indoors it works great. The only con I have is what a few others have mentioned. I don’t like the cycle through all of the different levels to turn it off. I really don’t like the strobe at the end. At it’s face, the light was perfect for my needs; small, bright and mini-usb rechargeable. Except it didn’t really do what it was supposed to do. The charging was sloppy, there’s no light indicator to tell you when it’s done charging, there was no positive engagement of on or off states of the light (the light would turn on in my pocket and run out the charge) and the finish was gritty and unpolished. It’s a cheap light, but I was hoping for a value and there is no value proposition here.. I purchased this product as a replacement for the previous version of the Tiny Rechargeable LED Torch. The older product took quite a bit of use and abuse while performing very well. This new version with water resistance was a perfect choice. For a variety of reasons, my keys are frequently in a damp environment, and so having a light resistant to that is perfect. It’s very bright, has a solid feel, small without being too tiny to handle easily and recharges easily in my car. I often charge it while I’m driving so I know I’ll always have a light available.
