With out the switch cap it can still operate however you need to put the standard cap on and use the button on the flashlight. Not great since you need to cycle though all the modes to turn it off. It’s also pretty big so if your mounting it to a rifle or shotgun expect it to make it kinda bulky.Over all this thing is just a rip off get something else.

Before I bought this here light, I had a crusty headlamp and my single shot 12 gauge.Got this here Chinese light and mounted it under the barrel of my extreme tactical Ruger 10/22. Didn’t bother with the pressure switch, I reckon I could hook it up but I don’t care and don’t need it.Lights bright as hell. On high mode I could probably take a 120-140 yard shot with confidence. And that’s as far as I would want to shoot the .22 (starts dropping a good bit past 100 yards.)Haven’t even had to put her on the charger yet. Its more than decent for 25 bucks. I’m sure there’s higher quality lights out there but for the money, this one’s fine for this ole’ boy.*Update* – rigged the pressure switch and it was cool. Worked for about two weeks and then it didn’t turn on one night when I was way out in the back field in the darkness. The pressure switch is garbage- I went back to the regular one. Also, I did charge it and it is still nice and bright. Still satisfied with the product- I use it about 4 nights a week continuously, will see how it holds up..

Started out stoked on this little guy minus the cruddy raised attachment ring but mounted it on my ak and never even got to fire a shot before the touch pad went out. Its a short right at the end of flashlight where it attaches to the cord. Due to the fact that the light doesnt come with a bottom you can actuate with your thumb i cant properly deploy the light but cant trust the button. Started out strong and disappointed. Its being reduced to a backup bag light. Knew i should have just spent the extra money but ill blame it on being drunk at the time.. This flashlight is super bright. It was lighting up a sign nearly 1/4 down my street. I was a little skeptical about buying it at first but I’m extremely happy with what I received. Great product!!.

My only negative comment is that when using the switch on the flashlight barrel, you have to cycle through all the modes before the light turns off. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. We’ll see how this holds up, but initially I give it two thumbs up.. Remote pressure switch fails to function. However the regular switch works just fine and the light itself is halfway decent for the money. The mounting ring is a tad undersized or the light is too big for the mounting ring. I was able to make it work because I had spare screws that were longer. But it’s intended purpose is to be on my rifle and since the remote pressure switch doesn’t work, its useless to me and the light will find itself in a junk drawer with other flashlights. It’s better to spend more to get quality because if a situation arises, you can’t depend on this light to properly function on your rifle.. the shipping time was 25 days, but that is not the problem, it is sent with the Picatinny rail mount that is NOT made for that light, and it not only did not fit due to being to small for the light, it also was made with the lowest quality, when I installed them on my other smaller flashlights, it easily stripped the base, I purchased 2 and both had the same problems, the mount does not fit the light, also the flashlight is BIG and heavy and has NO adjustment for the beam. Officially falls into my Chinese junk category..
