This flashlight feels well built. The retention clip is strong. All modes work as described. It just takes a few times using the light to get the hang of how to change modes. The turbo mode is BRIGHT! Turbo mode will stay on for about 60 seconds before automatically dropping down to the next brightest setting. In turbo mode the body of the light did get slightly warm to the touch but nothing close to hot. Just warm. In the high setting (one step below turbo) I felt no heat emitting from the body of the light. The front lens is glass, not plastic. The tail switch sits just below the back of the tail cap allowing the light to sit on it’s end without the tail switch hitting the surface. Flat areas of the body keep the light from rolling on flat surfaces. The thread on the tail cap and front of the light have no rough spots and the machining seems smooth. The beam pattern is good, with nice spill and a bright white center hotspot. Included are two spare O-rings, lanyard, battery, USB charging cable and a small instruction pamphlet. The lanyard has a small, easily overlooked at first, metal piece that allows for easier installation into the lanyard hole. That was a nice touch by the manufacturer. The included battery is a 18650 Li-ion 2600 mAh 3.7V with a mini USB charging port on the side of the battery. Folomov uses 3400mAh batteries in their lab when testing for run-times so keep in mind that the included battery being a 2600mAh, will run down sooner than their advertised run-times. I have not tested the water-proof ability of the light but Folomov lists it as IPX-8 waterproof up to 2 meters or roughly 6.5 feet under water. The overall size of the light makes it easy to hold and compact enough to fit in a pocket. Overall, at this price point this is a solid light. I’d buy it again. Should this light prematurely fail or malfunction, I will update this rating/review to reflect that.
. Overall this light performs very well. Has a good combination of throw with good spill. I like that it also has a simple user interface that has a tactical mode and a illumination mode where you have several different levels. It comes with everything you need so you don’t have to worry about purchasing a battery or a charge cable but you will need a charging brick or something with a USB port so you can charge the battery outside of the light. It has a gun metal gray finish to it, the led has a cool white tint I’d say around 6000 or more. It’s not bluish white it’s a very clear white beam. The only thing I’d say I would change is the turbo mode should last a few minutes instead of 60 seconds that’s just my personal preference. I haven’t seen a light like this out on the market it’s compact and not overly bulky or heavy. Great flashlight highly recommended..

I buy a lot of flashlights, and this thing is tops. Im always on the search for a better flashlight, but I shop for good deals. Pretty much any flashlight on amazon thats less than 50 bucks, i’ve had or have it. Had the Sofirn 50 dollar light, its about as bright and easy twice the size. This thing is the best little flashlight I’ve found yet. Oh, and check out the MillerTech headlamp, that thing is sweet too. All glory to the great 18650!. So far, a reliable high out put tactical type of pocket thrower (with decent, useable spill.). Luminous SST 40 LED provides impressive long range hybrid beam. Great range. Like having another Lumapower D-mini. But with better beam and output. And a similar form factor. The electronic switch has proven itself reliable as well. (Re: Unlike my USA made MagTac 325lm pocket Tac light.) I’ll keep this review updated to show long term reliability..
