The quality is good enough if not great, however the lens on mine has some gunk on it and is not perfectly clear/smooth, and the little black plastic ring around the LED was loose and I had to push it back in place. It doesn’t seem to affect the light that much though. I may end up having to glue the disc down if it keeps falling out.I was curious to see how this compared to my 1100 lumen flashlights from a few years ago, and I was initially disappointed, but then when I tried them side by side I see the difference. I had read about the difference in “throw” vs total light output, and I get it now. This is like 4 bright flashlights shining together, so it spreads a lot wider and covers more area, like a floodlight, but the center point really isn’t any brighter than my older lights. So for practical use it is good, as you’ll be lighting up a much wider area in front of you.Another note: The red light is pretty bright. This was the selling point for me, as a red light can be really useful when you don’t want to kill your night vision, but this light only advertised it as an “alert” type light so I didn’t know if it would be useful. I liked everything about the flashlight except the battery. It lasts two hours tops. It takes twice as long to charge it as it the light lasts. You would definitely need multiple power banks to recharge this light if you took it camping or anywhere that doesn’t have abundant access to electric. You will need to spend extra money on a high quality rechargeable battery for this light. Flashlight is great but the battery is a joke. Yet another rip off from amazon. Buyer beware.
