I might even go as far as say that this might be the best flashlight I have ever owned!My old blue LED flashlight wasn’t doing it for me anymore. I don’t even know what brand it is. I’ve had it for a long while.This flashlight comes in a box that comes with the instruction booklet, Warsun’s business card, a battery core that fits 3 AAA batteries, a micro USB cord, and a rechargeable 18650 battery made specifically for this flashlight.The flashlight itself has three lighting modes.1. A long-distance light, kind of like a standard LED flashlight.2. A COB light, kind of like a bright floodlight, good for lighting close distances.3. A red strobe light. Can be used for signaling emergencies.The flashlight is only USB-powered if you use the 18650 battery. No battery = No USB Charging.I’m guessing they decided to include the battery core just in case something bad happens to the 18650 battery.I imagine I will be using this flashlight for a long time. I am not disappointed. I have other manufacturer’s similar magnetic lights, for about half the cost, but with no swivel. This one has the advantage of being able to point the head in most any direction, which is a real plus when working under the hood. It’s also a plus that this unit comes with an 18650 rechargeable battery, so it’s ready to use upon receipt. The magnetic based is useful too for the type of work that I’m using it for. The only gripe I have is that the flashing red light represents, in my opinion, extra “bells & whistles” that I’ll never use. And, this feature just adds one more position that you must go through to get back to the switch “off” position. Some of the rechargeable flashlights that I’ve purchased in the past have rather “dainty” switches that go bad, with all the clicking needed, then the whole unit is trash. But so far, I’ve had no problems with this one (although I’ve only had it for about a week). All told, I’m satisfied with this unit. If the switch holds up well, and I eventually need to make more such purchases, I’ll very likely consider this unit..

The center spot is focused well and is a good color temperature about 5,500 to 6000k not blue or purplish at all like a lot of other budget Chinese lights. The circular arealight around the center spotlight is diffused well and bright very useful for doing maintenance when I need to see a large area. They had swivels 90 degrees and can be positioned anywhere in between. My only complaint about it is when straight the swivel joint rattles a little bit and my OCD kicks in and it bugs me 😂.. . .
