Attached is a picture in their ad which shows a guy lighting a spot beam on an object 1700 feet away. This what sold me on the light.. In reality, the zoom pattern diffuses at much closer range. I shined it on a building less than 200 feet away and there was no spot beam. The light was scattered all over the place and it really did not light up the building much. Heck, my ten year old Maglight (incandescent bulb) puts this one to shame.Maybe I got a bad one, I don’t know, but I paid close to $30 and expected better performance than that. Returned the flashlight and bought a light that cost less than this one – and works better.. Bright light, good battery, strong clip. I have purchased others where the clip was not strong enough to clip to your pants. This does not have that problem.My only real issue is that it is large enough for a 26650 battery but includes only the 18650. Honestly the 18650 is good enough and I would prefer it if it weighed less and was too small for the 26650..
