Fully charged and took out in complete darkness to walk dog. A 1/4 mile from home and it just stopped working. I had to walk back in complete darkness. I recharged and took both with me next night. First one wouldn’t turn on at all. Too nervous to get stuck in dark so didn’t walk dog. Very disappointed in this product. Don’t recommend.. I can’t speak to durability yet but so far happy to have one in the car and one for daily use like walking dogs at night or lighting tight spaces when working.. The flashlight is a good size and it feels comfortable to hold. I accidentally dropped one of the lights off a counter onto hardwood floor within the first few moments of owning it, but it still powered on and was able to cycle through all of the settings with no problems, so these lights are fairly durable. They come partially charged with one mini usb cable each for charging, and It took about 4 hours of being plugged in for the red indicator light to switch over to green. I’m not sure about the exact lumen output but it’s definitely bright enough to light up a bedroom in full darkness. I think this would be good light to keep in your car since it’s rechargeable, and if you had to change a tire or check your engine it has a fairly strong magnetic base which is pretty useful. The only issue I noticed is that the power button isn’t very tactile and it can be hard to locate in the dark.
