When I received this light, the box was crushed (looked like it had been run over several times), box was open, and had an “aged” look (the box looked like someone had used sandpaper to get the picture on the box off).I went ahead and got the product out, and it did look brand new, so I plugged it into a usb charger. It was fully charged within a couple of hours, so I went out and tested it. It worked great!So, like a dummy, I threw the box away (thinking it was just messed up in the warehouse or during shipping).I was going to use it today (the second day I had it), but it wouldn’t turn on… I put the usb charger in… NO CHARGE.. nothing!Now, because I threw the box away, I can’t send it back: a learning message to me to NOT throw the box away for at least a week.. The springs that retain the batteries are not strong enough and won’t hold the connection stable if the flashlight gets a bump which causes the light to turn off completely. If you were to drop the light in the dark it would probably turn off and could be difficult to locate. The body of the light screws together roughly 1 inch below the head of the light, if this were used in self defense it would most certainly break on the first solid whack. The light while it is quite bright it is not possibly the brightness advertised. It’s just ok, don’t buy if you are security looking for a light..
