I can recommend both the Redline Blast RC and the Redline 6K to my friends and coworkers.I believe there are two things the Nebo Tool could have done to make this a better flashlight, that maybe they should consider for their next generation of power flashlights. While 5000mah is good, I believe 8000mah would be even better. Since the world appears is in the process of moving away from USB micro B and moving to USB C, I think Nebo Tools should start incorporating USB micro C for there future flashlights.

I’m a big fan of Nebo flashlights. I purchased this Flashlight in November for emergencies and I have barely used it. The light it gives off is very bright and clear. The problem is the switch is starting to malfunction and only works half of the time and will not switch between light modes or turn off. I’m returning it for a refund.. This light has easy access to the battery compartment and a common size, making a spare battery a real thing. One and only flaw is the polycarbonate lense. Mine melted a hole clear thru it when I left it on hi facing down on the railing. Logic used in this design I just replaced the lense with a 44mm 90 degree glass lense that cost me 3 dollars. I think it’s more clear and doesn’t scratch nearly as easy. I give it 4 stars and when they use glass that can’t melt I’ll give it a 5 star. I really like the 44mm glass optic mod. I suggest the switch before you melt a lense..

The light is slightly larger than what most would consider pocket sized however it will ride in a pocket comfortably when you need a full size light. High brightness is 6000 lumens with the level being adjustable in steps. The beam is adjustable from flood to spot by turning the bezel to focus. Flood illuminates a very wide area as you would expect with well defined edges on the pattern. The spot beam is not as focused as some other lights but has plenty of power to let you see what you need. The light looks well made and durable but I haven’t dropped or abused it yet. Best part is it recharges with a micro USB cord like most cell phones.. I use this flashlight daily on the job as a home inspector. Very bright at full power and can be turned down with a press of the power button. It needs to be charged each night, but has worked great and is useful..
