Mine gave up when some of the contacts in the connector on the flashlight bent even though I’m probably more careful than most people are inserting cable connectors properly. Now I have a flashlight that’s perfectly fine otherwise but useless since I can’t charge it. So, don’t worry about how long the LED or switch or battery will last because the charge port will likely fail long before those other components will.I keep coming back to this listing to see if Streamlight has updated this flashlight with a USB-C charge port (the logical upgrade choice). But, so far, no luck. And I won’t be buying another device with a micro-USB charge port now that USB-C seems to be the new, more robust, and easy to use connector and it’s now been available to designers for years.

Started with the penlight that takes AAAAbatteries to the stylus-pro. I’ve always damaged them somehow. Never have failed me. Weak Charger port is the only downfall of this light.I love the brightness and ability to recharge. I used it at my hobby desk for a <month. The charge port was not the easiest to access. After 1 month it finally caved in and is no longer useful.I love stream light products but you’re better off staying with standard battery power for now.. Very disappointed with this flash light. Bought yesterday and was delivered same day. Charged overnight so it was ready to use today at work. Within the first 30 seconds to one min of using this light, it flickered and went out. Tapped it on the side and it came on only to start flickering til I turned it off. I decided to go back to my old pen light of another brand for the afternoon. I didn’t want to give up on this light given the name and supposed quality I tried it again. Same thing, flickering, off til I tapped it, and fought through the frustration to to keep using it. After a few mins of this, the light became very warm. This was noticed while wearing leather gloves. Unfortunately I threw away my packaging because of the brand and I will be using this light for time to come. I thought wrong.
