The pair of lights arrived on a Wednesday, July 31. I immediately put one on charge (at work), and planned to use that one the next day while the second one charged. The next morning I swapped the charger to the second light, and used the charged one that day. Near the end of the day, the first light grew low on charge. Checking the second light, the red charge indicator was still indicating that the unit had not finished charging… so I left it on overnight. Not only was the charge indicator still red the next morning, but the light would only emit light with the charger attached.The first unit charged, then quit working at all the next day. I put the batteries in a remote charger overnight, then tried again. The first unit never worked again, and the second unit would still only light up with the cord attached- not very convenient for a pocket flashlight…Swapping batteries between the units affected no change. Pretty much flushed the money for these lights down the toilet.Update:The seller quickly shipped replacement for the defective units. I have had no problems with the replacement units for a couple of weeks, now. Nice, bright lights, good battery life. Good customer service.. I needed a flashlight to watch my Doberman in our dog yard at night. (They can be pretty stealthy when you can’t see them at night….)So I looked & found this light. It works very well to keep an eye on him in the dark. The beam can shine quite a ways!I like the recharging system, too, although a headsup for us rural folks….that fat battery is a real unusual honker, & will mean a trip into the Big City when replacement time rolls around, because I have yet to see one of these batteries at any WalMart we go to.
