For clarity, this offer is supposed to contain two flashlights, one of which is 1000 lumens ( smaller light ) and the other one is supposed to achieve 2000 lumens ( bigger light ). I did receive the carry bag, three 18650 batteries and charger as advertised. Upon receiving the items, I charger all three batteries to capacity and performed my evaluation. I am not saying that these are junk. They do work and seem decently built for what they are , but, there are a couple things you should know.If you do not wish to read anymore, know this: When you see a light that looks like these, but, they are advertised with a different brand or how much better they are than the rest. They are no different. Its the EXACT same light with a different logo laser etched on it. That is all….nothing more. I powered up the smaller light first with the area of interest focused as tight as it would go. I then powered up the bigger light under the same scenario. At first it appeared the bigger light was brighter. However, I noticed something. The area of interest on the bigger light was 1/2 to 2/3rds the size of the smaller one. Of course it would “seem” brighter. I then adjusted the focus to match the smaller light and found that the smaller light was actually a touch brighter. I then focused into “flood ” mode and again found the smaller light was a touch brighter. Did the bigger light achieve the advertised 2000 lumens? No. Not a chance! Did the smaller light achieve its advertised 1000 lumens? I doubt it. I say that because I do not have a light meter to give a solid number ,but, I have another light advertised at 650 lumens that is the same or maybe slightly brighter than these lights. My point is, you can by another 2 light set for half as much and achieve the same results. I expected to find exactly what I found in my testing. I was just hoping I was wrong since I shelled out the few extra dollars for the superior set. The only true benefit of the bigger light is going to be that it has double the light capacity.I have included pictures so that you can see for yourself. In both pictures, the smaller ” lesser ” powered light is on the left and the bigger ” higher “powered light is on the right. See for yourself.

I have two huskies and a fenced area with flood lights, but I worry about the bears and mountain lions when the girls are out at night. I needed something that would light up the area beyond my yard so that I could see what was out there when my dogs start acting up. Regular flashlights just didn’t penetrate the darkness. This is exactly what I needed. I was impressed that the item arrived in two days. (I don’t have Amazon prime) I was also impressed that I received an e-mail from the company proactively, letting me know they were grateful for my purchase and available should I need any assistance. The instructions said to charge the batteries before the initial use, but all the batteries were “green” in the charger, so I didn’t need to do that. I tried taking some pictures, but with my camera flash the quality of the flashlight is not apparent. I highly recommend this product. The quality is exceptional, the price is affordable, and it sounds as though the customer service is great should you need them. What more could you ask for? If I can find a way to disable my flash on my camera, I will update the pictures. For now, I hope these are of some help..

I bought my first one and there was an issue with a bad set of batteries, but after planning to return via Amazon return policy, I sent them an email direct to their sales followup and explained the problem with pictures and they sent out a new set of batteries. I bought two more flashlight sets and no battery issues and everything appears fine. These are all for gifts, but I tested them out and no problems. The larger unit is definitely bright enough to blind you, so don’t look at the beam directly. For defense, this is great in disorienting someone. I looked at it and needless to say the spot remained for some time, so don’t do what I did as its like a welding arc spot afterwards when looking at welding without googles.Charging time is up to 5 hours and don’t charge unattended or leave in the charger after the green light comes on for safety reasons. Like all Lithium ION batteries, things can happen while not common, just best to be safe, so don’t leave home with them charging. Don’t leave the batteries lying around on a table where they could get knocked off or have the cat make them a fun play toy or allow children to play with them just keep them in the flashlight. If you drop them, check them immediately for any damage and remove from premises if they are damaged to be sure nothing is going to happen with them . This applies to all flashlights that use this type battery, so don’t let this scare you off as almost everything uses them if you need high current and longer run times. They are in your cellphone, just a different shape and they are installed and protected from damage in most cases.Seems to be a great deal for a 1,000 and a 2,000 lumen flashlight that is small and easy to carry.
