. This light does meet its description. While the included parts did meet the description the actual brightness is far less than “Super Bright 3000 Lumen” light in the description. With two fully charged batteries I turned on the light and was immediately disappointed with the light produced. In the first included picture the light on the left (square) is the advertised “Super Bright 3000 Lumen” tactical light. The light on the right, above the vase, is a 900 Lumen light that I personally own. In the second picture I compared the “Super Bright 3000 Lumen” light to a 500 Lumen Kobalt flashlight purchased from Lowes. As you can tell, I moved the 500 Lumen light closer to the 3000 Lumen light and the outer edge of the 500 lumen beam almost drowned out the 3000 Lumen light. If you are purchasing this light based on the advertised Lumens you will be extremely disappointed. If you are purchasing this to get the 4- 9800mAh 18650 batteries then its a good price as the batteries seem to be as described..

The absurdly high mAh Li-Ion battery capacity and the overstated flashlight lumen output are the major negative aspects of this flashlight, batteries (6) and charger set. Dial your expectations back by at least 50% and you’ll be mostly satisfied. The flashlight itself is remarkably similar to both the Atomic Beam and Bell& Howell Tac-Light seen on “As Seen On TV” ads. They all prolly come from the same Asian factory. The light seems to be sturdily built but I’m unsure if I’d drive an armored vehicle over it or freeze it in a block of ice. The lumen output is nowhere near 2000! Maybe 200 at best but certainly sufficient for most home or around camp uses. No one would ever call this a “tactical” light.The batteries tested at around 3.7V +/-. They can be charged up to 4.2 V but since the charger has an output of 4.5 V, they will be overcharged if you wait for the light on the charger to turn “green”. It’s interesting to note that the “charge” light will be green when the charger is plugged in and no batteries are installed. When batteries are place in the charger, the light glows orange and finally green when the batteries reach 4.5V (not necessarily good). It’s best to check the level of charge frequently (every couple of hours) and remove the batteries when their voltage reaches 4.2V. I’d advise NOT leaving batteries in the charge mode unattended as there is a potential fire hazard when charging Li-ion cells. Another tip RE: these batteries is to never let the voltage drop below 3 V before recharging. There are safety concerns and they will last much longer. Get a cheap VOM (volt-ohm meter) at Harbor Freight and leave it near the charger.Overall, this Light-Battery-Charger package is prolly worth $20 as long as you keep your expectations relatively low. While the light”s output is greatly exaggerated, LED emitters last for thousands of hours and is unlikely to burn out with normal usage. As stated earlier, the capacity is exaggerated and the true capacity is unknown but if the above charge/discharge recommendations mentioned above are followed, the batteries should last a good long time also. If reliable light is a requirement, I recommend always keeping a spare pair of fully charged batteries immediately available. They come packaged in pairs in convenient plastic storage containers. Don’t throw them away! They provide protection for the cells and can prevent inadvertent “shorts” that could result in a fire.Bottom line, if you’re a flashlight snob, this isn’t the product for you. If you’e just a regular person that occasionally needs a relatively bright flashlight AND can live with taking a few extra steps RE: care and maintenance, then you’ll do OK with this set..
