It seems pretty tough, hopefully it will hold up, as I use a flashlight all the time at work and it takes a lot of abuse.The Good: very bright, adjustable brightness, the momentary on feature, about the same size as a Surefire (maybe a little slimmer), the LED bulb draws low power although I haven’t tested the advertised runtime yet, it runs on it’s own rechargeable battery or the same CR123 batteries as many other tactical lights, and the rechargeable battery charges by means of a usb cable (which I find convenient for car use)User Interface:Simple! The light utilizes a 2 switch design that is very common for 18650 tube lights. The rear switch turns the light on and off, and the side switch switches modes. The light has mode memory and will turn on to the last mode used. When the light is on a simple click of the side switch brings you from low-high modes in order. A double click of the switch brings you instantly to turbo. Holding the switch for 1.5 seconds brings you into the special modes that include strobe and sos. Long click again brings you back to the normal modes. The rear switch is a forward clicky and the flashlight does operate with the momentary on feature by pressing the rear switch in partially.the side switch LED will be blue until the battery is weak and it will turn red. The opposite for charging. The led will start red and turn blue when it is complete charging.One problem I did have is that the light will go to turbo if you try to switch modes to fast… not a huge deal because if I’m changing modes fast it’s usually because I want to go up in light rather than down. The light could stand for a little longer delay between clicks to go to turbo in my opinion.Conclusions:How am I the first to review this? The TK-26 is a great flashlight for the price. The flashlight is much more manageable to handle during longer runs with that extra material to transfer heat away. The light has alot of great features crammed in for less than $40 it’s super easy to use, and has some good safety features. The USB charging worked flawlessly, it has some respectable throw, a nice clean beam with a decent tint, on top of having mode memory, and thermal protection. Nitenumen does great work with the pocket clips, and they are about as comfortable to carry as an 18650 tube light can be. The lack of PWM (at least that I can see) is also nice. The NE01 had PWM that I could see readily even when the flashlight was still. Lots of positives about this flashlight, and you’re not giving up much by buying this budget light.So do I recommend buying this light? Absolutely. It performs as good as any Fenix or surefire at half the price. Thats enough for me. I own over 100 flashlights, and this one does not disappoint. It really is everything you need in a flashlight. The battery that is included is a $10 battery, so really you’re paying less than $30 for a flashlight that is worth every bit of $60.The Bad: nothing yet I highly recommend buying this flashlight!!!
. Talk about buying the right product at the right time. I got this flashlight on July 2nd and was treated to a short power outage thanks to the 7.1 earthquake on July 5th. This light got pressed into service almost immediately because of the high output. I have other lights; purchased a dozen or so over the last decade from Amazon alone. I decided to use the new light and was not displeased.One of the things I wanted to make sure of was the ability of the light to stand on its tail while the beam acted as a room lamp. The first photo shows that this light passed that test.I also wanted a tail on/off switch because I have some nerve damage in my hands and feeling for a light switch on the barrel of the light can be tedious. I was pleasantly surprised, as shown in one of the photos, is that the adjustment switch is lit and easily found once the light is turned on by the tail switch. The other light is typical for most flashlights in that the light switch light is on after you get it turned on.I also took a picture to compare my older Nitenumen to my new tactical flashlight Nitenumen in overall size. The new light is about 5 3/4″ while the older light is roughly 4″. I took a picture of the microUSB port for recharging the light and at the top of the picture you can just see the adjustment switch. The machining is excellent, everything works and the amount of light it puts out on high is staggering. I also enjoy its very low intensity setting as I can use the light to get out of bed in the middle of the night and not disturb my wife.All in all this light is worth every penny and I look forward to years of service..

I am a true flashlight fanatic owning about 50 from nitecore,klarus,fenix,streamlight,and more as well as many of the less expensive or cheap chinese lights.Comparatively this nitenumen is not as cheaply priced as some of the much less expensive chinese lights i have purchased.With those it’s exciting because with some i have gotten very bright flashlights with impressive throws at a fraction of the cost of american brands.So when i came across this at $39.00 i was somewhat hesitant because of the higher cost. This nitenumun is a well built solid flashlight and very bright.It will make an excellent every day all arounder.I have not yet checked the claimed throw distance but would anticipate close to it.However as to the claimed 1060 lumens,when compared to my 960 lumen fenix ld41 the nitenumen is not quite as bright but very close.So this is not the least expensive chinese light but it is for sure worth the money due to it’s rechargeability,no more buying lithium batteries and i can also replace the 18650 with one of the many i already own.This is an outstanding powerful,well built, ,everyday use flashlight .I would buy again at this price.. .
