I really appreciate getting the extras with it. The case is a nice and thick canvas. it has a velcro flap that you can secure to your belt with, and also has a thick plastic loop that you can attach to your belt or bag with a carabiner or something.The light is very sturdy, made of a nice heavy metal. It feels very well made. It comes with a nice thick belt clip that matches the flashlight itself but is also removable. The bottom is flat, so the light can stand up on end. The button is a polished metal with a colored led ring around it. The ring illuminated blue while it is on, and changes for charging. The button is slightly raised for easy finding in the dark. It does not have an audible click sound when pressing, but you can definitely tell you have pressed the button.The charging port is in a recessed spot and the cover fits entirely in that spot and is really snug and provides a really good seal. I would not hesitate to use this in a wet environment, and would not be worried if I dropped it into water. The charger seats tight in the port so it will not fall out by bumping it. I was even able to swing it around using the cable and it didn’t budge at all.As I said, the light is very bright when on the highest setting. There are 5 brightness levels that can be alternated through with a single click of the button. Hold the button down for a second to turn it off and on. You can also just hold down the button at any point to get the strobe function. The strobe is interesting to me because it is a little different than others I have. This one alternates between a fast strobe pattern and a slower one. I like this because if I ever needed the strobe, it would be easier to spot since it isn’t the same repetition on it.It has a temp control which is nice. This way if you leave it on, it won’t overheat, or explode the battery. I was able to leave the light on for about 3 hours with the charge that the battery came with. I tested the battery ahead of time and it showed about 55% charge on it, so with a full charge, it would have a great run time.Overall, I am very pleased with this light and will probably be buying more to store in the cars and different areas of the house.

There are things that I really like about this flashlight, and a few things that I wasn’t impressed about. I would probably give it 4.5 stars if I could.First the likes:Good light output. In the photos I included a series of six photos. Flashlight off and then each of the brightness settings. For reference, I’m on a roof with four air conditioners (three up the left side, one on the right). It’s close to midnight in the photos, so what light is visible in the first photo is more just because it’s a good quality camera. All that being said the first air conditioner is about one yard/meter in front of me and on my left, second air conditioner is about 6 yrds/meters in front of me and on my right. Third air conditioner is about 15 yrds/meters and the fourth air conditioner is about 25 yrds/meters. I had no problem seeing across the roof on the brighter settings.I do maintenance at restaurants and the selection of brightness levels work well for me. In a more confined space, the lower settings are what I use. In the more open areas, the brighter settings come in handy. The ability to recharge the flashlight via the USB whenever needed is a real plus. Far better than having to replace batteries all the time. I have close to a dozen flashlight of multiple configurations in my van, but these compact rechargeable ones are the ones that I carry on my person and the ones that I use the most. In so far as that, this is my go to flashlight.The one thing that I really didn’t like about this flashlight is the holster that came with it. The flap just barely made it over the flashlight. there’s probably 1/8th (2mm) of velcro overlapping. About an inch (at least) short of being useful. So the holster got used for the photo only, beyond that it’s useless.At first, I thought that the clip that is attached to the flashlight would be useless since the opening of the clip is right behind the head of the flashlight, but I found that the head of this flashlight isn’t as big as it seems. The clip isn’t nearly big enough to fit over even my smallest (thinnest) belt, but it does fit over my pant’s pocket. So, I carry the flashlight inside my pocket and the clip keeps it from going too deep into my pocket. Although, I do wonder how long it’ll be before my pant’s pocket starts showing the wear from the clip.There is another feature that I was expecting to find, but one that this flashlight doesn’t have: the ability to lock the flashlight to prevent accidentally turning it on. Another flashlight that I have has the feature. Since this flashlight is so similar, I was expecting that this flashlight also would have that feature. But, it doesn’t. However, after weeks of carrying it in my pocket, I haven’t yet had it turn itself on. So, perhaps the feature isn’t needed.One word of advise, though, recharge the flashlight after each use. At least every couple of days. I haven’t let the flashlight get down to a low enough battery level, but you need to be able to turn the flashlight on in order to charge the flashlight. Otherwise, I anticipate that like another similar flashlight, you’d have to take the battery out and charge the battery in an external charger.All in all, It is a good investment, and one that I have recommended to several co-workers and friends.

Excellent brightness when charged, which is why there are two stars and not just one.Within the first week the flashlight charge died within the 5-12 minutes I was outside with it for walking the dogs in the dark. I would re-charge it completely and during the next day’s walk it would be spent again. No more than 10 minutes of usage, not even at highest brightness and it would die. Sadly, I had to return it.It did make me appreciate the high lumens and I will try again to find a bright light for these walks. Just not worth the money for this one.. This flashlight is very bright. All the extras that come with it are very nice. The only thing I’m not happy about is the light beam it can not be adjusted very much it is always like a flood light and I was looking for a more pinpointable light..
