The zoom feature: it sennds a concentrated beam to the object in which you’re pointing at and highlights it.2. Strength of the beam day vs. night. Using the flashlight around the house in the day still shown a pretty bright light, however at night time it was definitely luminous. I stood on my porch and shown the light against the trees across the street and I could see through the trees a few feet. When I zoomed in it went a bit farther.3. Tested the battery power. Full power with the high beam lasted roughly 3.5 hours, and on the lantern it lasted around 5 ½ hours. I didn’t test the strobe light or medium beam ad I assume it would be an estimate of somewhere between those hours.I also didn’t test the waterproof feature but I assume that it would be fine within the rain. However it’s not something I would submerge under water. The Magnet is pretty strong as well. Overall it’s a great flashlight, definitely wortth the price and it’s extremely useful.Edit: it’s been a few months and this flashlight has not been a disappointment. Waterproof feature works great as well. Dropped it in a bucket of water by accident. No issue after. Updating to 5 stars.

The product is very durable and attractive! Absolutely love this product and would recommend this to anyone. A must have gift for almost every activity.. This is an awesome flashlight – it is lightweight, but can tell it is well made and feels very durable.First night after receiving this I tested out in my backyard. The led light is very bright and the zoom functionality is great. There are multiple functions – it starts off on brightest setting… which is extremely bright, but you can click the on button once and lower the brightness level down a bit, which might be helpful in certain circumstances. You can also zoom the focus down to a smaller area – with this I could easily light up an area in my neighbor’s backyard 2 houses away from me!It also has a cool “lantern” mode, when you extend the zoom lens out, there is a band exposed, which will fully light up. This is an awesome addition that I think can be used to light up an entire area hands free by sitting it face down in the middle of the area you need lit up.Lastly the magnet in the end is super strong, so it can hold the flashlight up without any issue or fear of it dropping to the ground. Glad I made this purchase and think I will grab a couple more to go into each of my vehicles so I have them on the go..

I realize it was only $15 and I was not expecting much, but it definately does not deserve the higher ratings it has when compared to other inexpensive flashlights on amazon in my opinion. The lens is really cheap looking and when using the spot function the light is in a square shape which is really odd. The flood function really takes the brightness out of the light. My opinion would be to avoid this one and find something better.. This is actually a pretty powerful flash light. It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but that’s a good thing because now it fits in my purse. I’m bummed out because the “lantern” feature on mine doesn’t work.
