The flashlight is really bright but it’s in the wrong spectrum. The light is within the blue spectrum instead of the white spectrum which is sunlight so you can’t really see objects with this flashlight due to this flaw as natural sunlight is what humans are adapted to seeing with. But it works really great with my camera since cameras capture most spectrums that we cannot see.. I’ve used it about a dozen times now, so here’s the TL;DR bullet point review:Pros:Super brightSeems well-builtThe pivoting head is very usefulSits on a floor or bench securely without tipping when sitting upright, or rolling away when the head is pivoted 90 degrees into a more traditional flashlight shapeLong battery life even from my little 1.5ah batteriesDid I mention it’s very bright?Cons:It’s HUGE. Very, very large. Takes up quite a bit of space in the bottom of my 22-inch portable toolbox.Desperately needs selectable brightness modes! You have three options: VERY bright, useless dim red, and off. I would love to see this light upgraded with Hi,Med,Low settings! Using this while piled under the sink in a bathroom vanity was almost uncomfortable because of the overkill of light.Summary: This would have been a five star product for me if it had selectable brightness modes. I searched for a while trying to find the best rechargeable flashlight and settled on this one, and I’m glad I did! It is so bright! I have a big ML300L that is rated for 625 lumens and this crushed that flashlight. You know the stock photo that all these flashlight use of the guy standing on the road and all the trees are lit up? That is actually what this flashlight does! I was blown away the first time I used this outside and if you use it inside and shine it on the ceiling it lights up the room you’re in. I don’t know battery life yet but I used it on medium for 1 hour and 30 min straight and had no problems, but I’ll have a YouTube video on this flashlight soon and I’ll test battery life then. Honestly if you’re looking for a rechargeable super bright compact amazing flashlight, this is it.. So far, so bright! 🔦 I’m curious to see how long the charge lasts / battery. It also will turn back on to “high” mode after being shut off this way. The beam can be focused down small for more concentrated light or wide for more general lighting. Both are very bright. I have used my Stanley Fatmax for three years in nighttime boating. I’ve rarely charged it and thought I could do better with a brighter and cheaper light — WRONG! I’m returning this and buying second Stanley Fatmax SL10LEDS 2200 for 10 bucks more. It is very bright and it is very lightweight. I like the unique idea you can use it as a lamp with the small light bulb included. I bought this light once before and my mother loved it. So I gave that one to her and I bought myself another one. I do not believe it is 6000 lumens as some advertise but the light is bright. It is a great light for the money. This flashlight is super bright, when it arrived it felt light and I didn’t think it would perform but once night came I went out to the back yard and shined it straight up to test it, the next morning we got a message from one of our neighbors (across the street and 3 houses up) saying they happened to see the beam of light and wow lol, I’m pleased with this purchase. This seller should be flagged for posting bad info. This is a 500lumen or less spotlight. I immediately initiated a return once I realized it was not a 6000lumen lamp as stated in the ad. There are a lot of brighter flashlights available for less money.. Overall it’s a good light. Is it as bright as they claim? No. But still bright enough. Very light weight. I had high hopes for this handy flashlight and was very satisfied with the first use, lightweight and bright, but not long lasting. I intended it only for walking our dog at night.
