Both the spot light & flood light are very bright. Having it be rechargeable is a plus. 2 things I wish were better 1) the buttons are unlabeled, so if you’re not using it often, you’ll forget which button works which light… not terrible but if you hit the flood button instead of spot- it’ll blast you in the eye with the power of 10 million suns. 2) and this is my biggest fault, the plastic seems very cheap. You can either use a single 18650 battery, or the flashlight does come with a battery holder that allows you to use 3 AAA batteries. I would suggest going with the single 18650 rechargeable battery (with the highest mAh rating you can find). I did notice a little bit of difference in the brightness of the flashlight when using the single 18650 battery instead of the three AAA batteries; the color of the beam with the 18650 was whiter than with the three AAA batteries. If you only have the three AAAs and do not have a second flashlight to compare against, I don’t believe you will notice any difference between the 18650 and the AAAs, when just looking at the beam from the AAAs. I had purchased two flashlights and could compare the brightness of the beams side by side; I switched the batteries in the two flashlights, so I would be sure the flashlight bulb was not responsible in the difference in brightness. I have needed a battery charges, so purchased a Nitecore D2 Digicharger for the 18650 batteries (very happy with that unit). I have been wanting to start using rechargeable batteries in all my devices. The one thing that is a minus with the flashlight is that it was difficult to figure out how to have the flashlight cycle through the various modes: High/Medium/Low Beam, Disrupter Signal Strobe, SOS Rescue Signal. At a very low cost you get a solid, well-built light, that is bright, and has very clear and even illumination across the entire field at all zoom levels (I have a number of more expensive lights that do not accomplish this).The only thing to note is that the zoom head is somewhat bulky, and the whole light is somewhat heavy.The user interface is great: click-on, click-off. When you click-on it returns to the last setting. When on, double-click to change from high, to medium, to low, to strobe, to SOS. Since I never use anything less that high, this allows me to ignore all the other settings and use the flashlight as if they didn’t exist: just click-on, click-off.. You get what you pay for…It does work OK. Definitely not a 1200 lumen flashlight but it is adequate for what you get. The finish is nice, however the fitment is sub par. The sliding focus is very loose and rattly. The lanyard ring is extremely small and would not stand up to any abuse. Lens bezel had to be tightened right out of the box. Whole flashlight gets very hot after about 10 minutes of constant use on high with an 18650 500mAh battery. The different modes , High, Med, Low, Strobe and S.O.S are easily obtained with a slight push of the on off switch. All in all i would buy again as a flashlight to throw in a drawer and use in a power out situation or in the glove box of a vehicle for that occasional time when you may need on to see in the dark but not one i would recommend as an EDC..

I really liked this flashlight, got it in the mail, tested it out, it was super bright and recharged well. I was happy with it and was planning on buying another one. BUT I used to once straight for over 20 minutes and it got hot, like really hot, I’m pretty sure you could get burned on it. I shut if off immediately. So it’s fine if you use it 5-10 minutes at a time, but over 20 minutes is a problem. I would not recommend buying this flashlight.. I have NEVER owned a flashlight, or personally known anyone who has, that is as bright as this one! It is AMAZING for helping me keep an eye on my dogs in the dark AND spotlighting any possible coyotes during the dogs nighttime bathroom break. Enough to light my entire back yard better than the floodlights I use. Switching modes/intensity was simple, one click on and an additional click for each progressive light level. Double click at any time for max level. Strobe and SOS were equally simple, long hold to activate and one click to progress through them. The strobe I found to be especially handy as it’s so bright and unexpected that it could easily disorient an intruder or even a wild animal if need be. Lastly, the build quality of the light is top notch. It has a nice weight, great fit and finish, and the seal to the battery compartment is heavy duty (they include an extra O ring for future replacement). All in all, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, it’s spendier than most other models on Amazon but well worth it in my opinion. First impression is that they are smaller than what I imagined but seem well made and sturdy with decent weight to them, not like a typical cheap flashlight especially considering these were made in China.Three of the 4 are very bright and are rather impressive for how small and inexpensive these little flashlights are but the 4th is dull even for a cheap, China made flashlight and the zoom function doesn’t match the others. While zoomed in all the way, the 4th flashlight’s grid is noticeably bigger & blurry and gives a yellowish hue while the others are tighter and white. It’s pretty amazing what you get for 30 bucks these days.Not only are these lights INSANELY bright, they’re also focus-adjustable, so you can have a really wide beam or a really tight beam. The pressure switch works well…the only thing that worries me a bit is the cord on the pressure switch (specifically, where it goes into the end cap on the flash light), so we’ll see how well that holds up over time with repeated battery changes. And even if it does break, the light comes with a push-button activator cap as well, so you just use that instead and mount the light in a spot on your rifle where you can turn it on with your thumb…definitely not the end of the world.The light is made of some pretty durable aluminum and mounts to 1913 picatinny rail slots. Stays in place like a rock (but don’t forget, ALWAYS Loctite EVERYTHING), and it’s pretty lightweight so there isn’t a noticeable change in inertia when you shoulder or sight your rifle.Bar none the best feature about this light is that it comes with 2(!) rechargable(!) 1200 mAh LiPo batteries and a charger. That’s a huge deal…usually gun lights use weird, obscure, expensive batteries and taking that out of the equation entirely is an excellent move.I went ahead and bought a couple for my rifles. I’m considering getting a few more and putting them in my cars.. I put this light on my AR build. I love Feyachi lights because they look good, are made well, are super bright, and come in at a budget price. Easy to mount, and comes with everything needed to get it on right.
