The flashlight is a basic LED light with a wide field of view coverage. It takes 3 AAA batteries. The on/Off is a button at the back end, took a while to get it to work, but it seems fine. It is a bit heavy for its size. It has 3 modes as noted, the first two are normal and the third is a rapid flashing mode one assumes for some emergency.I have tried the light at night and it is adequate but not great. There is a very pronounced thick yellow border around the beam and secondly, when in focus position the beam is not round, rather more like a square with rounded corners. I have a very inexpensive around 40 – 50 lumen flashlight that came with a emergency kit and even that dose not have a visible yellow halo/border and its beam is round.I also don’t see where this could illuminate an object 100m with any effectiveness since it doesn’t do a very good job with my back fence at 30m when in focus mode.It would of been a winner if the beam quality wasn’t so bad.. Really disappointed with this flashlight. I have some Duracell headlamps which I really like. That is why I am disappointed with this simple flashlight. It has three modes and one button. If you want to turn it on and off you have to cycle through all three modes every time your turn it off. Most other flashlights have a smart switch that will allow you to hold down and bypass or lock modes. Not this one. If you want to turn this on and off to save battery you will have to hit the power button 3 times every time you turn it off. It’s a philips style so I switched to a flathead to make use of the good part and that got stripped too. Now I’m left with a circle so I use a drill to remove the head and pull the clip off. It was then that I noticed residue between the clip and flashlight. It wasn’t locktight and it was hard so it wasn’t any kind of grease. I can only guess that they glued the clip to the flashlight and did god knows what to make the screw so tough to turn. Luckily, I don’t really care if the clip and screws are messed up because I’m mounting it. Have yet install a battery and test functionality. If all of that goes well, I’ll bump this up to a 4 star. If it goes poorly, then probably a 2 star. Will keep everyone posted.Update: the light quality is amazing. It’s really bright and doesn’t lose brightness quickly but that might be due to good batteries. I took this flashlight on a camping trip this past weekend to an area that was very dark. The flashlight performed flawlessly. The amount of light it produces is considerable, and because it has a lens and zooming capability it allowed me to either use it as a floodlight to cover a wide area, or to narrow the beam if I needed to focus on something by making the beam of light stronger and more focused. This is an extremely useful feature.It has a rechargeable battery that you can plug in to a USB charger, so that is great. I did not run the battery level all the way down, so I cannot comment on how long it will last, but it seemed OK. It also has different light intensity modes so I would imagine that that would impact the energy consumption.Since the flashlight has only one button, all the functions are crammed in it. I personally find this annoying, as you need to toggle through 5 modes with that one button, and 2 of the modes (Strobe and SOS) are rarely if ever used, yet you need to go through them all the time when you cycle with the button. The other minor item I disliked is where you are in the narrowest beam possible you see the crosshairs line in the LED in the projected light. Zooming out gets this out of focus so it becomes a diffused beam of light. This does not affect anything; it’s purely a personal preference thing.Construction is great. Very solid aluminum body. Button has good feel.. This is a good product for the price. Heavy and well-constructed. It comes with a AAA battery insert that could be used in place of the proprietary battery. Overall, I am glad I purchased it. Two of them actually – one for the house and one for the car. My only criticism: The description claims that this flashlight is capable of 90,000 lumens. It most certainly is not that. Perhaps it’s a typo. If so, they should really correct it. Also, if they did mean to claim 9K lumens, I think that is still high. I’d rate it closer to 4K – 5K lumens..

The Stanley Fat Max spotlight rated at 2200 lumens is much brighter as is my 2200 lumens flashlight. Also, doesn’t have 10,000 mAh battery as advertised. A 10,000 mAh battery alone will weigh more than the whole spotlight does. Too many Chinese brands make false battery capacity claims and this one makes that list as well as the false lumens claim. Now with all this being said it’s still a halfway decent product. The price is high though for what you get. I’d say this product is worth about $30. The worklight and emergency flashers on side are nice though as well as tripod. Too bad it wasn’t brighter though as I really wanted to like this with the other features. Is that bright enough for my needs though and I will be returning this item and going for what I know is brighter the Stanley FatMax spotlight. I bought it to have for use for my part-time job for a May 2020 Contract….that has changed and the contract was cancelled due to the pandemic. I totally love it. This is a no joke very strong spotlight for sure a light compact easy to use the device. I can also charge my phone too. Love it and now my co-workers want one as well :).

I’m buying for family members as gifts even! This thing is awesome ! I was afraid I’d have to pay over $60 for a good one so I’m extremely pleased with the price of this one !. I’ve never got it wet and had for a few weeks. It can light up 100 yards easily and the strobe can signal a mile or more accurately over water in full sun. The light bar on the side is very bright (high) good for video highlighting (medium) and signaling on red and blue strobe. Harbor Patrol, etc.. I purchased this spotlight to use for mostly spotting wildlife in the forests while driving scenic byways. The light is super bright and travels a long distance. It has a concentrated center beam that has a high setting and a low setting. On the side of the light are smaller lights that can be used to light up a room, tent, working underneath a car, when the lights go out etc. etc. The side light has a high and low setting and when you hold the button down it has an emergency light mode that flashes red and blue lights. It looks really similar to police/ emergency lights, this feature seems like it would be extremely helpful to alert on coming traffic if you had broken down on the side of the road or something, very neat. Overall I’m really impressed with the light. I haven’t had the chance to do more with it other then test it out, but I plan on taking it out this week at night to spot wildlife in the forests. I would recommend this light!!. Feels very cheaply made but provides a great long distance spotting light for a relatively low costs. Lights up my 23 acres from fence line to fence line. Doesn’t appear to be powerful indoors but the beam is great outside..

The problem is that this makes it noticeably heavier than the perfect Torchy, and it doesn’t stay clipped to my hat. In addition, the magnetic base seems to be weaker, so good luck getting it to stay stuck to anything vertical. The angle is a nice idea, but they need to beef up the magnet and clip to match the added weight in order for it to be a good light.One thing I will add is that if you don’t like paying $15 each for replacement batteries, you can use regular 16340 batteries with the addition of a small compression spring to take up the extra space at the bottom since the NEBO batteries have a protection board built in. What a frustrating waste of money, with the seller has no concern about their product not working!. Ok….after first opening this flashlight I wasn’t impressed. It seemed to have all the bells and whistles but the light just didn’t seem bright enough. That was until I made it outside at night to see how much further the throw is. This light has some serious throw to it and while keeping the flashlight cool to the touch.
